Here is a short list of workflows that may help you in your company. Of course, you can also set individual workflows; we describe how it works in this article.

Planned/actual comparison:

This workflow notifies you if the difference between scheduled working time (according to duty rota) and actual working time (according to time tracking) exceeds 0.5 hours.

Actual/target comparison:

This workflow notifies you if the difference between target hours (according to employee profile) and working time performed (according to time tracking) exceeds 0.5 hours.

Working time assessment:

This workflow notifies you if one of your employees worked more than 10hours. Please observe your local law.

Assignment/application withdrawn:

This workflow notifies you if one of your employees has withdrawn an assignment or application for a shift.

Notification of absences:

If there are several Admins who also want to be notified when an employee puts in a leave of absence for a reduction of overtime, a day off, sick leave, or vacation, then it is done via this workflow.

Check sick pay entitlement:

If you want to check whether one of your employees has called in sick for more than 30 days in the last 52 weeks.

Rest periods:

This workflow notifies you if one of your employees has not complied with the statutory rest period of eleven hours between two sets of time tracking.

For each of these workflows, you can also define which actions are to be carried out in the respective case.

You have the following options:

  • Display warning (the warning text can be customized, if desired)

  • Send web request (with the option of amending the header and body)

  • Send email

  • Add tag

If you have other interesting possible applications for workflows, feel free to leave a comment with your examples. Your case may also be included in our examples.
