If you employ freelancers at your company, you should give them the authorization to record their working times on their own. You can find out how this works in this article.
Authorization to create your own time tracking
Click on the employee icon on the left-hand side in the menu bar → select an employee → under "Employee data" → then click on the icon with the pen & paper under "Place, time, and authorizations"
Place the tick next to "Employee may create own time tracking" in the new window and click on "Save".
If you have changed the settings as described, the employee is now authorized to create his own time tracking.
